It is with regret that the Bracknell Hornets have to announce that netminder Riche Richardson will take a step back from hockey for the remainder of the season.
Riche has been a solid part of the club over the last few seasons but unfortunately for us and fortunately for Riche, his career outside of hockey has moved from strength to strength and as such, mixing the both has become difficult.
On the news Head Coach Carl Graham said "Riche has been an awesome part of the club and has been here during the same time i have at the Hornets. He's always given 100% commitment and wears the crest on his heart.
I know it's been a mega tough decision but one i totally get and after a few conversations Riche thought this was for the best all round.
We have a solid replacenent on board in signing Duffy as we complete our playoff push and I've also left the door open for Riche to still help out if needed and possible on his schedule. Thanks for everything so far Riche."
Our coaches, staff, fans and supporters wish Riche the very best and hope to see him at a game soon!
