NIHL Wilkinson Playoffs Supporting Brain Tumours Research

The NIHL Wilkinson Playoff Weekend Coordinators are delighted to announce that we will be joined by a charity to raise both funds to continue their work and awareness of their work.

Brain Tumour Research will be joining us on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st April at The Hive in Bracknell.

Brain Tumour Research's vision is to find a cure for brain tumours.

Brain tumours are indiscriminate; they can affect anyone at any age. What’s more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer... yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.

They are building a network of experts in sustainable research at dedicated Centres of Excellence whilst influencing the Government and larger cancer charities to invest more nationally.

Brain Tumour Research are the only national charity in the UK that is dedicated to raising funds for continuous and sustainable scientific research into brain tumours and they are a leading voice calling for greater support and action for research into what scientists are calling the last battleground against cancer. Brain Tumour Research will be collecting throughout of Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st April and we’d ask all supporters from all teams at the Hive over the weekend to donate as generously as they can.
