McTimoney Chiropractic Association Sponsors the Bracknell Hornets for a second season

The McTimoney Chiropractic Association (MCA) is delighted to once again be a major sponsor of the Bracknell Hornets for the upcoming 2018/19 season. We are proud of our close ties with the Hornets by not only sponsoring the team, but also having one of our members (and MCA President) Berni Martin appointed as Chiropractor/Medic to provide medical and MSK support to the players and coaches.

Chiropractors have been involved in the treatment of sports-related injuries from the very beginning of the profession, and already make a big impact in professional and elite sport in the UK and across the world, so we are particularly excited that the Bracknell Hornets have further demonstrated their commitment to success by choosing a sports chiropractor to be part of the team. Chiropractors use a range of techniques to reduce pain, improve function and increase mobility. As well as manual treatment, chiropractors are able to offer a package of care which includes advice on self-help, therapeutic exercises and lifestyle changes. As a discipline that deals with functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system chiropractors are eminently suited to being included as part of the medical support team for any sport.

We hope our partnership with the Bracknell Hornets will help raise the profile of chiropractic and ice hockey in the UK and wish the Hornets a successful season.
